Our Mission

At our club, we believe in striking the right balance between developing young athletes and preserving meaningful time with family. Too often, youth sports can overwhelm a family's schedule, with practices, tournaments, and travel consuming nearly every free moment. We've chosen a different path.

Our soccer program is intentionally designed with two distinct off-seasons. This built-in time away from the field gives families the chance to reconnect—whether that’s enjoying dinner together, traveling, or simply taking a break from the constant demands of organized sports. It also opens the door for players to explore other interests, including participating in different sports.

We understand there will come a time when full-time commitment to a single sport may be necessary—but we don’t believe that time is now. At this stage, we place value not just on training hard and improving on the field, but on fostering well-rounded, happy, and balanced young individuals. Our mission is to support both athletic development and a healthy family life.

Hurricanes AC is proud to offer a supportive, development-focused environment for young athletes. We’re currently welcoming new players and teams who are looking to grow within a competitive and community-driven club.

Affordability

Why so low?

The projected out-of-pocket cost for the 2025–26 soccer season is just $680 per player if paid in full. That covers the entire season.

Why is it so affordable?

We’ve built this team specifically to cut out all unnecessary costs:

No pricey uniform bundles — we partner with local suppliers to provide affordable, high-quality gear.
No added “club” or “training” fees — since we’re an independent team, there’s no overhead, and our dedicated volunteer coaches donate their time.
No travel expenses — all games are held locally, so there’s no need to spend on travel.
